OUR STORY
We have been serving Central Florida since 1997. After completing medical school in India, I immigrated to the United States and completed an Internal Medicine residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. In 1997, I started my practice in Lake Wales, Florida. I was very fortunate that Dr. Sukumar Mathan joined my practice. We served our patients with our heads, heart, and hands. We compassionately practiced evidence-based care. We were always regarded as the best primary care doctors by our peers and our patients. Our practice quickly expanded from Lake Wales to Winter Haven and Haines City. We had hospital affiliations with Lake Wales Medical Center, Winter Haven Hospital, Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center, and local Nursing Homes.
We were one of the top-ranking practices in Central Florida for many years. We received many awards for quality and patient satisfaction from different Health insurance and other quality Agencies. We took pride in preventing chronic medical problems, and our chronic care efforts delayed or prevented acute and chronic complications. Our patients could count on us and our practice. In 2014, we were approached by DaVita Medical Group to acquire our practice to incorporate our quality practices into their existing multiple primary care offices.
I am in my second life phase and have learned and experienced much about the healthcare delivery model. Every patient deserves timely, comprehensive, and cost-effective care, and it is my calling to develop an integrated healthcare delivery model that meets the current needs of our patients. I am blessed to have a beautiful family. I have been married to Manjit Kundlas for over 33 years. We have been blessed with our son Ajay Singh Kundlas and daughter Anmol Kaur Kundlas. Ajay and Anmol have been studying medicine at USF Morsani School of Medicine in Tampa. My wife is working to fulfill her lifelong dream of being a doctor and is currently attending the American University of Antigua. We are proud that they aspire to be physicians to serve. I enjoy traveling, exercising, cooking, and reading. I intend to continue to support local community projects.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. You can communicate with us 24/7 on our patient portal. We offer tele-medicine visits during off hours, weekends, and holidays.
